2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage GT

Exceptionally well cared for example of this rare and special model.

Marketed by Aston Martin as “The Ultimate DB7” with improvements to the powertrain, chassis, brakes and aerodynamics, the DB7 GT is not only the quickest “DB” ever but it also embodies all of the values of the classic Grand Tourer, immense power, inspirational handling and all-enveloping luxury, providing one of the world’s most rewarding driving experiences.

Mileage: 21,000 miles
Colour: Nero Daytona (Black)
Year: 2003
Transmission: Manual

DB7 GT benefits from even higher levels of power and torque.  New engine mapping increased power to 435 bhp and torque to 410lb/ft, added to a change in the final drive ratio, there is dramatically improved mid-range acceleration compared with the standard DB7 Vantage.  A new exhaust system incorporated V12 Vanquish style bypass valves.  Improved braking performance consisting of grooved brake discs, uprated booster system again from V12 Vanquish, higher performance pads and improved brake cooling.  Suspension improvements to complement the improved braking include uprated dampers, a revised front sub-frame and stiffer bushes.

Inside, the GT has sports seats with extended shoulders and lateral bolsters as standard, special Parchment with black instrument dials and clock.  Climate controls, gearknob, pedal pads, and special sill plates are all in satin finish aluminium.

This particular example was first released from production on 31st March 2003 and registered on 9th April 2003 on an 03 plate.  Finished in non-standard Ferrari Nero Daytona (metallic black) with all charcoal leather, charcoal Wilton carpeting, GT black oak veneers, charcoal Alcantara seat insert panels and headlining.  Further fitted with upgrade Becker Cascade audio head unit and Becker Silverstone autochanger.

Having supplied this beautiful example to its fourth registered keeper from here in September 2006, we have serviced, MOT’d and cared for the car ever since, the car has not missed a service in that time, despite most of its use being ourselves collecting and road testing the car.  The current owner purchased from ourselves in August 2016 and has continued with the impeccable service history, and very limited use, doing a few more miles between servicing purely as he lived further from us.

A currently unique opportunity to acquire an extremely well cared for, much loved, but little used example of this rare and desirable model, with provenance and service history to match.

It is believed that of the 190 GT cars built just 85 of these were built for the UK market, with some of these cars built are no longer existing and some not being cared for as special cars should be, this really is a great collectors example that also drives as it should.
