This is one of the last Vanquishes built before Aston Martin started the limited edition Sport Dynamic Package crossover, and then, later in 2004, commenced Vanquish S production. As such this car benefits from significant upgrades from earlier model year cars including; 7 spoke 19” alloy wheels, a re-worked interior with more supportive front seats, Platinum Liquid Metal finish to the centre console casting, door release surrounds, instrument pack surround and other interior fittings and a backlit etched glass starter button.

Less clearly visible but a noticeable improvement are the addition of ventilated and grooved Brembo discs – 355mm (front) and 330mm (rear) – with uprated competition-derived Pagid brake pads. Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) is used to re-balance front and rear braking forces under different loads.

The car is finished in Ferrari Canna di Fucile (dark metallic grey) with all charcoal leather trim, charcoal carpeting, slate Alcantara headlining and Platinum fascia console.

Built new with 2+2 seating, heated front seats with perforated leather inserts, front stone guards, heated front windscreen, powerfold mirrors, rear park distance control, satellite navigation, integrated telephone system and 1200w Linn premium audio with thirteen speakers.

We have sold this car to its last 2 keepers having originally purchased the car from the then Chairman of the Aston Martin Heritage Trust who maintained the car regardless of cost.

In 2018 this car was put on a rolling road with 8 other Vanquishes and recorded an astonishing 509bhp, significantly more than any other Vanquish that was tested on the day.
