As standard Gen 4 DB9s are fitted with Aston’s AM11 spec engine (the same unit as fitted to the Vanquish albeit in a different state of tune) with 510 bhp.  This is 40 bhp more powerful than the 2009 DB9, 20 bhp more powerful than the previous Virgae and equal to the DBS.

The Gen 4 DB9 has a 20% increase in stiffness over the original model and weighs 15 kg less.  The braking system utilises drilled Brembo Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) discs and monoblock calipers which are c. 12.5kg lighter than a conventional system.

This example has been additionally spec’d with the following optional extras from new; Aston Martin’s 700W premium audio, red brake calipers, sports exhaust, piano black facia trim, magnum silver meshes, reversing camera and 20” 5 spoke silver alloy wheels.
