Warranty is provided for twelve months. Currently this is an AutoProtect Premier Plus product with a vehicle purchase price claim limit. This policy is available for various periods and claims limits, full details of which are contained within the policy booklet. You can purchase additional cover from AutoProtect via our Service department or direct, either when your current policy is about to expire or prior to commencement of initial policy start. We will be happy to provide information regarding pricing upon your request.
The policy covers all mechanical and electrical parts (including labour to fit them) of the insured vehicle against mechanical breakdown. There is no restriction to the number of claims you can make. However, the vehicle must be serviced by a VAT registered garage in line with the requirements laid out within the policy booklet. Mechanical breakdown is defined by AutoProtect as; the failure of a component causing a sudden stoppage of its function, for a reason other than wear and tear, normal deterioration or negligence. Inclusion of the optional roadside assistance is also provided. Again, full details are laid out in the policy booklet.
Road fund licence included is the provision of a six month licence, unless balance of existing licence is agreed at point of sale. Twelve months licence is available at extra cost.
A new MOT test will be carried out as part of the vehicle's preparation, to ensure that the components are functioning in line with the manufacturer's specification, commensurate with age and mileage.
Any accident damage that we are aware of or have been made aware of by previous owners, third parties or HPI register will be declared.
Mileage and service history, in addition to whatever visual checks are possible, all document and service stamps are checked and a National Mileage Register check is carried out via HPI.
Next service due is carried out as per manufacturer's recommendations within the owners guide.
If the vehicle you are choosing is still under manufacturer's warranty, you can choose to extend this via our Service department. Similarly if the vehicle is of an age and mileage that allows, then again an Aston Martin warranty can be purchased in lieu of the AutoProtect Premier Plus product. Regarding classic vehicles, every effort is made to ensure that they are of a quality and standard befitting the marque and how we choose to support it. Due to age and mileage, in most cases vehicles cannot be supported by either the Aston Martin extended warranty or the AutoProtect policy, however the Aston Martin classic warranty may well be available to purchase - again please ask for details.
